Privacy policy
This policy covers the Wake mobile app (package identifier cc.icsr.wake) and this support website.
The current offline release does not send your reading history, favorites or local drafts to ICSR Tech LLC. It has no advertising, tracking or analytics SDK.
1. Information stored on your device
Wake stores quote reading history, saved quote text, hidden-quote choices, display language, reminder preferences and locally written drafts on your device. These records make the app work and help prevent automatic repetition. We do not receive these records through the current app.
Your operating system may include app data in device backup, transfer or restore according to your settings. Wake does not operate its own cloud synchronization service. Clearing app storage or deleting the app may remove local records; copies in device backups are managed through your platform's settings.
2. Reminders
Notifications are optional and scheduled locally. Quote text may be visible on your lock screen depending on notification settings. You can disable reminders in Wake or notifications in your device settings.
3. Sharing and exporting
When you choose to share a quote or export a draft, the app passes the selected content to the destination you choose. The recipient or third-party app handles that content under its own policies. Exporting a draft does not publish it in Wake.
4. Accounts and online content
The current release requires no online account and has no configured quote-download, editorial-submission or review server. Local writing and export do not create an online account. If online services are introduced, this policy will be updated to describe their data handling before they become available.
5. Support messages
If you email support@icsr.cc, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide. We use it to respond, troubleshoot and maintain relevant support records. Avoid sending passwords or sensitive personal information. We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle the request, maintain necessary business records or meet applicable obligations. You can contact us to request deletion, subject to those obligations.
6. Websites and external links
Opening a quote source or support link connects to that website. Its operator may receive connection information such as your IP address and browser information. This support website is hosted through OpenAI Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure; hosting providers may process technical connection and security information to deliver and protect the website. We have not added advertising, visitor analytics, contact forms or tracking scripts to these pages. Linked third-party websites follow their own policies.
7. Your choices and requests
- Change language and reminder preferences in Wake.
- Remove saved quotes or local drafts using the app's controls.
- Manage notification permissions, device storage and backups through your device settings.
- Email us with privacy questions or requests about information you sent to support. We cannot access or erase app records that exist only on your device.
